Prisons are overcrowded with people serving life sentences. In fact, without capital punishment, the murder rate will increase, so prisons could become more crowded because murderers would no longer fear facing the death penalty. Therefore, the government must provide them with sufficient spaces. Furthermore, they will spend more money and resources to care for the prisoner for the rest of his life. Despite using all those resources and money on people who will pose a source of danger to the community, we can use that money to rehabilitate prisoners with miner-related crimes and educate them to be good, productive people again. Indeed, capital punishment can help alleviate the problem in criminal justice
