Based on my research I went from thinking that officers were forced to wear body cameras to being undecided about which side was right. On the bright side, officers wearing a body camera could be a way to regain trust in the system, something that has diminished over the years. The downside is that people have a right to privacy and find the perfect way to let the public see what is going on without seeing who is actually involved. Another benefit is that police officers will likely think before they react and will be sure to follow all rules and regulations to ensure they do the job the way it should be done. Then there's the issue of how to fund this project with the right manpower and money to make sure it's done right. So, doing this assignment opened my eyes to the pros and cons of forcing an officer to wear body cameras and made me think about both sides with an unbiased approach
