He forced his uncle to transform himself into a beautiful deer to attract Sita's attention. Everything went perfectly in Ravana's favor when Rama quickly chased the deer in the desire to catch it for his wife. Rama then left Lakshmana to protect Sita. However, Sita asked Lakshmana to go and help Rama when she heard a loud voice shouting from the forest asking for help. Lakshmana noticed that it was not his brother's voice, but to Sita's happiness he went to help his brother. Before leaving, Lakshmana placed Sita inside a magic circle which he designed to protect her from all dangers. Not long after Lakshmana's departure, Ravana appeared in the form of an old man in search of food. Unaware of the danger, Sita came out of the circle and offered food to the old man. Ravana then turned to his true form. With Sita in hand Ravana returned to Lanka. On the way, Sita dropped her earrings to mark the path for Rama. Spotting the sight of Sita trying to free herself from the demon's hand, the bird king wanted to help her but was ultimately defeated by Ravana due to his old age. When Rama and Lakshmana returned, they found no sight of Sita. Informing that Sita had been taken by the demon, Rama and Lakshmana quickly went to look for her. On the way they met an old woman named Savari. He advised Rama to find the two monkey friends Sugriva and Hanuman. Hanuman was known for his power, courage and as a son
