Topic > Assimilation in the United States - 1514

AssimilationOur country is acclaimed for its infinite capacity for integration. Whether it happened in the early 1900s when desegregation occurred in Topeka Middle School, or whether we integrated every nationality into every ethnicity and became known as a melting pot. In every aspect of how our country came to what we know as the United States, there is a simple integration that occurred to create what we are today. Assimilation is a positive force when it is needed, there is a need for it in our companies, in our marriages, and we together with the media are the causes of these types of assimilation; America's tendency to assimilate will remain a beneficial factor until we lose our individuality in the process. Assimilation is an unstoppable force. Americans do this on a daily basis without time to reflect on whether or not to assimilate. Assimilation also makes our world go round; it is the basis of agreement and understanding. As we assimilate, we understand that conforming will create a strong unity. When working with a company, conformation is necessary. Moving as a unit and being viewed as a unit is the desire of every company. Why would a prestigious company want to be shown as disorganized? Or are there employees who can't work or get along with each other? It is a necessary trait in every person, the ability to work as a unit and become a team player. Through assimilation, teamwork is established and learned. Teamwork is the foundation of any business, and through teamwork, the business will thrive as one unit. Teamwork is the foundation of many different areas of our lives. Not only is it necessary in the world of work, but more necessary than ever in our marriages. Marriages should be based on assimilation through compromise and understanding. Through this compromise and mutual understanding we arrive at the peace that every family needs. Assimilation in marriage means bringing together two different opinions and reaching an intermediate agreement. This is a positive force, the force in which both let go of their strong beliefs through their vows of love for each other, to come to the understanding that conforming as one unit will help them succeed in difficult times. If the result of assimilation in a marriage is peace, then this is a characteristic that marriages today need more than ever.
