My research question: What was the effect of Leon Trotsky and Snowball? Over time, people have learned history from books, websites, articles and magazines to gain their understandings of history. Leon Trotsky played an important role in the Russian Revolution, as did the character Snowball from the novel Animal Farm. Their actions in life had a positive effect on the story even though their goals were never achieved. Leon Trotsky Leon Trotsky was the chairman of the Military Revolutionary Committee of the Petrograd Soviet. The organization was the one, under the direction of Lenin, which demonstrated the overthrow of the state called or known as “The October Revolution”. Since the uprising originated in the civil war, it was Trotsky's job to organize the Bolshevik Red Army to fight the anti-Bolshevik services, other groups, such as the Whites, were aggressive towards the Bolshevik seizure of power, even the United United, France, the United States and the Japanese who took control of ports throughout the country and tried to force Russia back into World War I, then tried to overthrow the new establishment. Later, during the Civil War, Trotsky was considered one of the favorites to lead the country after Lenin's death, but fell into conflict with the master exploiter who hated his popularity, his organizational skills and was wary that the may the army be faithful to him (Stalin). In 1929, Stalin evacuated him from the Soviet Union. Trotsky wrote many books, articles and pamphlets criticizing what had happened to the revolution and suggesting different policies for the country, leading to the branch of communism recognized as "Trotskyism". Stalin acted. against him and in Mexico; he was fatally wounded in 1940. Snowball Snowball a leader. Peo......middle of the paper......and you see that there is a connection between these 2 characters. They wanted to do good things but never had the chance to achieve their goals. Looking between them, Leon was a leader with Stalin after the Russian Revolution and Snowball was a leader with Napoleon after the overthrow of Mr. Jones. How they used their power was their decision. They both wanted to be creators because no one would ever think about what they wanted to be. The only difference between them is that Snowball is a fictional character who is a talking pig and Leon Trotsky was a realistic human figure in the story, however, the lessons we can learn from them are strongly connected. Because of what we have learned from them, we have learned to be more aware of how people can misjudge someone, we can learn if someone or something is different, it does not prove that they are the enemy.
