God designed a perfect biological optical system called “The Eye” with some limitations; Optical system designers have continued to design useful optical systems to overcome the limitations of the eye. What if telescopes weren't designed? The world would not be the same; we wouldn't know our place in the universe, the universe would be much smaller without telescopes. However, telescopes have changed the lives of humanity, Knowing more about the universe and other planets has certainly influenced religion and personal beliefs. Even so, existing methodologies in optical system design have limited efficiency because they rely heavily on trial and error. By conducting qualitative research in the field of optical system design (OSD) and developing new optical design tools you would significantly increase your design productivity and efficiency. I grew up as an only child on a farm outside a small village; I had many household chores, from feeding buffaloes to delivering milk in the village, exploring the meadows with my grandmother or reading many books from the local community library. According to my mother, I have always been interested in science and let my uncle take me into science fiction films. He is the one who helped me qualitatively to find my future path. With a great passion for physics, I opted for the Bachelor's Degree in Physics; and went on to encompass several disciplines of physics. I am fascinated by the experience of the physics laboratory at university, in particular the optics laboratory, how vision systems work; how LASERS work; how light rays carry information and finally telescopes. I like studying physics, especially optics, because I unconsciously feel very comfortable when I decide...... middle of paper ......tion to provide me with an idea a strong background in fundamentals and exposure to a wide range of other engineering disciplines, have given rise to a desire in me to gain more experience from professionals in various fields of research in Engineering. My research concept is that of a right balance between theory and practice, i.e. application of theoretical findings and observation of results through systematic implementation. Given the opportunity, I would like to further improve my knowledge and gain experience in the field and therefore would like to participate in this work in the SPIM team. I am aware of the hard work and commitment required and believe that my motivation and attitude will help me overcome the challenge. I am also confident that, if given the opportunity, I will be able to contribute productively to the research underway at your institute. I look forward to working in your esteemed SPIM team.
