2011 was a great summer year, I had my first summer job as a cook at a summer camp. I had so much fun every day, interacting with the children and playing with them. Every day during my breaks I went to the seafront because the pitch had a stain. The children were very excited when I arrived because since I'm big I made them fly in the air with the blob. The camper would jump onto the mass, crawl to the end, and sit facing the water. I would then run towards the blob from a high pier and jump onto it, landing in a sitting position causing the child on the other side to be launched into the air and land on the water. For everything to go well I needed to wear goggles because without them I wouldn't be able to land properly and let the campers have fun flying. I never thought I would lose my glasses in the lake since I always had them on every jump, but this time the landing went wrong and my glasses fell off my face. It all started on Wednesday evening when the staff decided to go for a night swim. For this to happen we had to wait for the campers to go to bed. When they finally fell asleep, we got ready in all our bathing suits to have fun. Then we all met at the main lodge waiting for a small bus to go to the lake as it was a mile walk from the lodge. I was really excited to go because I had never done something like this before in the evening. When the bus arrived we all settled in and headed towards the lake. We started taking photos and singing the song titled, call me maybe; we were all dancing and screaming. When we arrived we got off the bus and waited for the lifeguards to give us instructions. It was really dark and the moon didn't have enough light to see, so we decided... middle of paper... lungs: "I found them, I found my glass!" and I let the water out to show him. Everyone was still praying when I screamed, when they heard me they couldn't believe I had found them and when I showed them my glass they started clapping and were so happy for me. I'll never forget that night when I was going crazy outside for my drink. God hears the prayers made that night. It gave me every little inch of strength I had left to descend one last time to 18 feet of lake water and return with glasses in hand. Even though I was left alone in the water by the staff because they gave up, I wasn't alone. God was there with me the whole time, waiting for me to ask Him for help. Whenever we find ourselves in tribulations, all we have to do is ask God for His help and He will help us, just like He did me. He never leaves us and is always there with us.
