Topic > Learning Styles Reflection Paper - 1160

This theory is based on the student's internal motivation to learn rather than being motivated by external circumstances (Cassidy 989-1000). Students in this theory are more focused on actually understanding the material they are taught rather than simply maintaining high grades. Self-regulated learners go through a process of self-reflection every time they learn new content. They constantly check in with themselves to make sure they understand the content being taught and realign their thoughts if they move to a different topic. I believe I am a self-regulated learner because I am motivated to truly learn rather than just receive good things
