Topic > American Foreign Policies and Influences - 1218

No country in the world has influence like the United States. Maybe it's basically because it's a superpower nation. Although Russia has been there for centuries, since it existed as the USSR, its foreign influence has so far not matched that displayed by the United States. The People's Republic of China is trying as much as possible to have influence, especially in Africa and other developing countries, but the United States of America is still leading the way in impacting countries around the world. Even the operations of international bodies such as the United Nations have not been entirely able to operate independently of US influence, directly or indirectly. What the United States represents on the international platform is felt in all nations of the world. Amazingly, scholars firmly assert that what California is doing and believing today is exactly what the world will do and believe tomorrow. This simply shows how dominant the United States is on the face of the world. Because of this great influence of the United States on the international stage, debates have ensued about the impact of America's excessive involvement in international affairs. Most Americans today have mixed opinions about the international policies their leaders expose them to, and the question circulating is whether such policies are worth all the input expended by the U.S. government. Structurally and politically America is democratic. One of the fundamental things the international community needs is for it to want the "entire" world to be democratic. He wants people to believe what he believes. This has been supported most by members of Congress and the executive branch and it all amounts to the question of whether these two institutions are becoming a liability or an asset to Americans at large. ...... middle of paper ...... Yes, everyone will agree that America, being a superpower, has an image to protect. Its international power should be felt from the Far East to the west, north or south. However, the tricks of the trade must have changed. The American government must introduce moderation into its international policies so that there can be a balance between the pursuit of its interests and the exercise of power over other countries. Moderation will ensure that international conflicts between you and other nations are kept to a minimum. Less conflict translates directly into greater international understanding between America and its allies. Current politics is characterized by favoring allies. for example, history has shown that the United States and Israel are very close allies, and regardless of whether Israel is right or wrong regarding international conflicts, the United States is always on its side.
