Electrical engineering is a field that primarily involves the use of technology in the design, development, and testing of electrical devices. Electrical engineering specializations focus on the physics of electricity and magnetism, engineering analysis and design tools, and the mathematics of circuits and systems. If you take an engineering course, you are trained in how to design and make products that are safe and can improve human life. Many people don't like this course because it is very demanding and engaging; therefore many beginners feel that they are not prepared. As a result, many who enroll in the course find it challenging, so a large number end up dropping out (Dan, 55). To solve such problems, the idea of using concepts from popular disciplines such as music in engineering was adopted. Music is an artistic discipline commonly loved and appreciated by a large population unlike other disciplines. Many prefer to take courses in areas they feel comfortable with and enjoy engaging with. Music and musical concepts are familiar areas of study unlike disciplines such as engineering, physics, or mechanics. Music is enjoyable and almost all people have experienced it in their own way. it is a broad field of study, which is related to many other disciplines in different ways. Like other areas of study, music and engineering are related in that many musical instruments require engineering knowledge in their design. Music is primarily based on the transmission of sound and engineering knowledge is required for this to happen (Smith103). Because of these relationships and the popularity of the music, it has been incorporated into other disciplines to increase its popularity. For example, incorporating musical concepts into unfamiliar disciplines makes… middle of paper… the student program was amazing. This was measured by increases in program enrollment. Likewise, student evaluation scores have steadily increased, demonstrating the success of integration in this course. This practice requires the merging of the musical and engineering population. This has led to students from different disciplines understanding and appreciating each other. Music's continued support of electronic engineering has been a success. Works Cited Beneat, Jean.
