Although the Romans copied many aspects of Greek culture, they also made distinct contributions. Greece and Rome also made enormous contributions to our civilization with art and architecture. The Greeks invented the column and the Romans took these Greek characteristics with some of their own, such as a strong new concept of concrete, dome and arches and created wonderful structures. The Roman and Greek gods appear to be related to each other. One similarity between the two mythologies is that the symbols and designations of powers are the same in the two. The differences are present in the creation date. Furthermore, for both mythologies we do not know where and how they were created because there is more than one story that describes their beginning.
