Topic > The Abyss of Human Depravity - 2575

The Holocaust was a catastrophic event that killed millions of innocent people and showed the world how inhumane humanity can be. This dark period in world history demonstrated unparalleled violence and cruelty towards the Jewish race that led to genocide. Genocide did not begin with the Holocaust; nor was it a spontaneous event. Many warning signs in world events helped provide Germany and Adolf Hitler with the basis to push forward increasing levels of human depravity (Mission Statement). These warning signs during the Holocaust include; Anti-Semitism, Hitler Youth, Racial Profiling, Ghettos, Lodz, Kristallnacht, Pogroms and Deportations. However, their denunciation comes too late for the world to help prevent the horrors of the Holocaust. For example, anti-Semitism was never put into practice until the Holocaust overtook the attitudes of German citizens. It also provided the driving force for the education of the Hitler Youth. Hitler's persuasive characteristics led people to believe all of his beliefs. This is how racial profiling was born; Hitler made Germans have the mentality that Jews were horrible, dirty people who didn't deserve to live like Germans or have the same luxuries. As a result, they moved all the Jews to a secluded area, away from German citizens; an area called the Ghettos. One of these ghettos was the city of Lodz, which kept meticulous historical records of everything that happened in the city. However it was not a safe for the Jews; never feel comfortable without knowing the uncertainties or dangers that await us. For example, on Kristallnacht, they didn't know that this would be the last night some of them would be with their families. In general, the Jews lived... middle of paper... as much human depravity as one can imagine. Although the genocide did not begin with the Holocaust, Germany and Adolf Hitler's ruthless desire for "Aryanization" came at a high price in terms of human violence, suffering and humiliation towards the Jewish race. These warning signs during the Holocaust, such as anti-Semitism, Hitler Youth, racial profiling, ghettos, Lodz, Kristallnacht, pogroms and deportation, revealed themselves too late for the world to understand what was happening. happening and help prevent the horrors that were happening. it happened. The lessons learned from all this provide a better understanding of all the scars that genocide leaves behind in the past and present. Despite ongoing research in all of these areas today, we continue to learn new details and accounts. By exploring the various warning signs that indicated genocide, valuable knowledge was gained on how to prevent this from happening again.
