For as long as I can remember, I have always dreamed of a career in medicine. I have always had a passion for saving the lives of others. Being a doctor is meant for me because I love taking time out of my day to make a difference in people's lives. I am willing to continue my education for a long period of time just to realize my dream of becoming a doctor. Others want to become a doctor for money or prestige, I want to become a doctor to help sick people. My grandmother, who has been suffering from cancer for 3 years, is recovering from treatment. Even though she often suffers from skin problems, doctors are still doing everything in their power to help her recover. Her hair started to grow back and she was back to normal. This is one of the reasons why I want to be a doctor. When one is a doctor, people admire him when he is at his weakest point.
