Almost exactly eighty-one years ago, Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany. After January 3, 1933, nothing was the same in Germany or any other country in the world. The question people ask is: how can someone like this come to power? Nazism or National Socialism is a far-right ideology, present in Germany from the 1930s until the end of the Second World War. Nazism could be called a form of fascism, but it is also characterized by strong anti-Semitism and racism. Adolf Hitler is seen as the leader of National Socialism present in Germany in the 20th century as he was the Reichskanzler (Chancellor). Nazism, with Adolf Hitler as its leader, is a social movement that changes previous values, beliefs, roles and status into anti-Semitism, anti-communism, belief in the superiority of the Aryan race, extreme nationalism and racial purity, having a negative influence on society. After the World War I, the German Workers' Party (NSDAP/Nationsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei) was formed with Hitler as its leader. This party was fixated on nationalism and followed socialism as it rejected the ideas of democracy and Marxism. Furthermore, the NSDAP, while following National Socialism, also had a very anti-Semitic, anti-communist and racist ideology, which led to the genocide of Jews and other immigrants. The NSDAP used a lot of propaganda, trying to convince people to vote for them. The propaganda themes were racism, the conquest of more land in the west, and the creation of a more heavily nationalized Germany. The German Workers' Party promised to provide jobs and try to make Germany a new, bounded nation again. At that time the Germans were desperate because there was no money,...... at the center of the paper......of the ideology of National Socialism was the role and status of women. Women were expected to be "mothers": to stay at home, not work, be the housekeepers, and still take care of the children's education. Women were expected to be trusting, faithful, caring, self-sacrificing, passive, selfless and also do their duty. During the time of Nazism in Germany, women were not allowed to take jobs in political and government positions. The only work women could do was somewhat farming, but without much power and some teaching and nursing positions. To serve the ethnic community, women had the task of having many children, in order to spread the Aryan race. In return, the husband takes care of the food and fights the enemies. On Mother's Day, mothers with at least five children were presented with a medal to show respect and value for their performance.
