Topic > Characteristics of Beowulf - 1245
He was brave, skilled, and his overwhelming strength gave him an advantage over many of his opponents. Beowulf's cockiness may have ended his life when he faced the dragon, but that trait of his personality allowed him to become a great leader. He didn't fear death and that's one of the signs of being a hero. He knew that death may be around the corner with every step he takes, but he always dives headfirst into challenges. Beowulf may have died that day with the dragon, but his legacy as an epic hero and exceptional leader will be remembered for generations.
