During this period, in the hunting and gathering lifestyle, women primarily cared for children. Usually, the period of time after birth is three to four years before the child can constantly move to different makeshift homes. However, for people who lived in a more permanent home, there were no restrictions whatsoever. Within permanent homes, women can bear more children without worrying about restrictions placed on their living situation. By making children more numerous, the population increased enormously. Luckily, with all the innovations related to plants and crops; farmers were able to provide food for their families with reserve food for the “dry season” months. With hunting, families were still fortunate enough to have enough food for each season and leftovers for the dry season. Food sources in this period were beginning to accumulate and were not yet so large and widespread. Due to the food supply, people began to overpopulate some areas. This then leads to the opening of several resources. Furthermore, with the spread of food supply just beginning, there was a brighter future for agriculture-based localities. Those people who lived there essentially had a better future, because it was provided for them
