Director Tim Burton has led an interesting life, dealing with fantasy and reality. Or what is normal and abnormal. Burton's very unique filmmaking style has been incorporated into all of his Hollywood-produced films using cinematic techniques such as sound/music, framing and color. These techniques were used in Burton's popular films such as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", "Edward Scissorhands" and "Alice in Wonderland", "Nightmare before Christmas" and many others. In Tim Burton's films, shots contribute greatly to his films in different scenes or objects. For example in Burton, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", Burton uses an extravagant amount of unique shots. At the beginning of the film, Tim shows you how chocolate is made and shows extreme close-ups of the delicious chocolate.
