Topic > Oil Cleansing Method - 935

If you've spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars trying facial products only to still have skin problems, you may be kicking yourself after reading this. The truth is that most facial cleansers are extremely expensive, don't work, or contain agents that aren't beneficial to your skin. The skin is the largest organ in the body. The skin provides a barrier to protect muscles, tissues and internal organs. However, most people consider skin to be the most important feature of the body. Healthy skin resembles clean, clear and glowing skin. This is why people go to extremes to maintain beautiful, healthy skin. However, although it is the exact opposite of what is commonly known, oils are the key to clear and beautiful skin. HOW IT WORKS The oil has often been linked to acne. However, contrary to common misconception, the oil does not cause acne. Bacteria and dirt are the root of most acne. This is especially true for cystic acne. Cystic acne is the most painful and difficult acne to treat. Large pus-filled cysts are the most telling signs of cystic acne. Additionally, pus-filled cysts are a sign of an underlying skin infection. Oil cleansing is beneficial for cystic acne in the sense that it eliminates impurities, bacteria and toxins resulting in the reduction of the cyst. The scientific principle of the oil cleansing method is simple: oil dissolves oil. Oil is a non-polar substance; therefore the use of another non-polar substance that has similar components cancels out the pre-existing oil. Pre-existing oil on the skin is removed and replaced with healthy oils. It may seem a little strange, but oil cleansing is not only natural, but the oils used are beneficial for the skin. Unlike store-bought cleaners that fail to add moisture, the oil… half the paper… lasts no less than two to three minutes. Then, take a warm, damp towel and apply it to your face until the towel cools. The steam from the hot towel opens the pores to release trapped dirt and oil. After the towel has cooled, place it in a basin of warm water. Remove excess water so the towel is damp. Take the warm damp towel and clean your face from any oil residue. Since the pores are open due to heat and steam, they now need to be closed. To close the pores, take cool water or a cool damp towel and gently pat your face. Now you can apply any skin product or continue with your skin regimen. WARNINGS Although the oil cleansing method cleans the skin, you must remove all oil from the skin after performing the method. Leaving oil on your skin increases your risk of getting clogged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads.
