Noad and Rogers (2008) analyzed that many studies have been conducted on how entering stores influences consumer behavior. The findings highlighted that store entrances are significant to the store, although there are various other elements of retail that have their own level of importance. Furthermore, the level of importance of the items depends on whether the consumer is planning to purchase, unplanned purchasing, or impulse purchasing. Store entrances can increase retail store performance by influencing customers' unplanned or impulsive purchasing behavior as they enter the store.
