The term globalization has many definitions as some describe it as the “increased connection of people from different cultural contexts (Carrino, 2012), while others say it is the “worldwide spread of practices , expansion of relationships across continents, organization of social life on a global scale, and growth of a shared global consciousness” (Lechner, 2005). The idea itself is also classified into different dimensions based on communication. Furthermore, it is undeniable that the main purpose of globalization is based on competitiveness. As a result, smaller companies are able to compete with much larger companies thanks to the “even” game”.
