Students are the key to the future, and college is the next step after graduating from high school to turn them into successful young adults who benefit others. Free access to higher education beyond high school should be totally free for those who have no choice but to go into debt. College education should be free just as it is up to 12th grade. Free college will not only benefit us but also others and our country. The more people who go to college and graduate, the smarter our country will be as a whole. Nowadays you need a degree to have a well-paid and guaranteed job. Companies that are hiring for new job positions can now be hired because more Americans have college degrees and are qualified for the job now. If college were free there would be many positive factors and things. Another is that high school students would be more motivated to get higher grades than they currently do so they can get accepted into their dream college. We would see a huge increase in academic success for high school students and then for more students going on to higher education due to their high school achievement and graduation with a four-year degree, benefiting the economy with their career. What if a person was really smart?
