Undisclosed, many like Google and Facebook have tried to buy Snapchat for millions but were rejected. Now in their early twenties, Evan and Bobby had this new billion dollar idea where, since these two didn't discount fame and fortune, but viewers still considered Snapchat an offense that was only for rich people to show off to all their riches. Spiegel explained to the audience that it was just a page for entertainment purposes only and to inspire other young people to go out and achieve what they want to achieve in life, giving everyone an easy way to show it. That aside, Snapchat today is only four years old in its intentions as a simple college class project. Spiegel, who was pursuing a bachelor's degree in project design as a freshman in college, and Bobby, who was a junior working on his bachelor's degree in mathematical and computational sciences, both at Stanford University, were scheduled to design a class project titled "Future Freshman ,' to create a site that would forever improve the way high school students apply to college By creating Snapchat he failed to do what was required of the project but then began to increase attention and from that moment in then Spiegel and Bobby discovered how well they worked
