For years, the war between Windows enthusiasts and Mac devotees has raged, the battle lines clearly drawn with no official winner in sight. That said, most people would agree that for most of the time the Mac was the clear favorite. To the delight of Windows fans everywhere, everything changed about ten years ago with the advent of Windows XP. For the first time in years, Windows fans felt a glimmer of hope as Microsoft's new offering proved itself as a contender in this cyber war. While clearly not a winner, XP was something to be proud of, and Team Windows held their collective breath as they waited for the release of the much-hyped Windows Vista. This is a long introduction for a 1-2 page document. Unfortunately, Vista fell short(,) and Windows lovers were forced to continue using the reliable XP or struggle to maintain some stability with the ever-unstable Windows Vista. As every soldier knows(,), however, loyalty always pays off in the end and with the release of Windows 7 it seems that die-hard Windows fans everywhere have finally received their payment in full. It's an operating system to be proud of, and Windows enthusiasts can safely snub arrogant Mac lovers once and for all. Windows 7 offers a multitude of unique new features designed to reward loyal fans for their continued devotion. This essay will highlight just a few of these features and how they are used as an introduction to what Windows 7 has to offer you. What is the process? If you've ever looked at your messy desktop and wished for the ability to make it disappear for a moment, then you'll appreciate Shake. Windows 7's new Aero Shake feature lets you... middle of paper... you won't be disappointed, because even as the battle rages between Mac fanatics and Windows lovers everywhere, it's clear to me Windows 7 he represents a more than worthy opponent and if I were the judge, I would say that a winner has emerged from the shadows. Microsoft has finally given Windows fans something to be proud of. Able to hold its own against the best, it shines as an operating system that is an easy-to-use asset that consumers will find combines quality and functionality. It offers you a winning handful of unique tools, all designed to not only save you time, but also ensure a smooth and smooth journey beyond the threshold of cyberspace.
