Topic > Characteristics of my community - 1502

The community is everyone, but sometimes individuals need a little extra help, which the community as a whole would not be able to provide. Helping certain individuals makes you feel morally satisfied and gets the person who needed help back on their feet. Giving back to the community or an individual is morally correct from what I learned growing up and provides gratitude towards myself. There are many characteristics that make a person who they are. The characteristic that I feel defines me the most is my religion. I am a Greek Orthodox Christian, I grew up very close to the church, geographically and spiritually. Without my religion I would not be the person I am today. I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago with people similar to my social standing, middle class and white.
