My boyfriend Eric and I have been dating for almost two years this coming March. We were best friends for a long time and I had no idea he liked me because he never told me. Then once I found out he liked me, I got scared, I tried to avoid him every chance I got, I felt so bad doing it, but no one was ever interested in me and when I found out he was , I thought it would be better if I simply avoided it so as not to get hurt. He soon noticed, but kept trying, he didn't care that I was avoiding him. When he finally admitted he liked me I told him we could only be friends because I didn't see it that way, and this went on for two whole years. He invited me to the movies on March 29, 2015 while we watched Insurgent and at the end of the movie he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. I remember very clearly that my hands were sweaty, my heart wanted to burst and I was afraid to say yes but, I said yes because something told me that he wasn't like the other guys who dated me on a bet and then cheated on me. To this day I'm so happy I said yes because I'm truly in love with it
