This article will examine my personal responses to three questions submitted by Indian Wesleyan University. motivation to continue my education and earn my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). My motivation for nursing education extends through my personal dedication and commitment to promoting health and wellness to the public. What is your motivation for earning your Master's Degree in Nursing? Has it always been a goal of mine to continue my education beyond my nursing degree? nursing sciences to obtain a higher qualification as a professional nurse. My motivation also came from my childhood, clinical internships, the experience of my preceptors, and the knowledge of my counselors. Having the opportunity to receive lessons from teachers who encourage students by showing support in their studies and postgraduate programs has been a useful motivator. Early in my childhood I was faced with tasks that many adults couldn't do. I have had thirteen years of personal experience with disabilities from my mother who has systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Administering medications, going to appointments, and listening to medical specialists in internal medicine and rheumatology increased my knowledge and education at a very young age. This experience led me to consider the NP program because I found my curiosity and interest in helping my mother with her chronic illness motivated me to pursue a nursing degree. Additionally, the professors at Lakeview College of Nursing motivated me to continue my education. They expressed how important it is to continue learning and providing the highest level of nursing expertise. I have mentors who are Indiana Wesleyan graduates who have provided me with extensive information about their incredible experience… middle of the paper… which does not have to be a negative factor in their future. Showing that at-risk youth can achieve and become anything they want with dedication and hard work. I don't want to see current youth in low-income areas become another statistic. Taking control of your health is essential to not becoming another number in the toll of sexually transmitted diseases, teen pregnancies and much more. Giving them the confidence and encouragement to take care of their health and education is my personal mission. Having my own NP will allow me to work with the desired population at a higher level of skill and knowledge in order to promote change.
