For this purpose, after completing my internship, I joined the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Bangladesh (OGSB), a very reputed NGO, which deals with health issues maternal and child health in Bangladesh. I initially worked as a medical officer in the “Community-Based Skilled Birth Attendant (CSBA)” project collaborating with the Government of Bangladesh and UNFPA. The aim of this project was to achieve the goal of Millennium Development Goals 4 and 5, namely reducing child mortality (MDG 4) and reducing the maternal mortality rate together with improving maternal health (MDG 5). After completing this project, I joined another OGSB project on safe motherhood and this time in collaboration with Save the Children International and USAID. In this project, I trained rural health workers, nurses and doctors on antenatal and postnatal care, normal childbirth, vagograph and neonatal resuscitation. Not only as a master trainer, this time due to my managerial qualities and power of belief, my supervisor also selected me as the team leader of the training unit. I believe this teaching experience will provide me with some additional advantages in my future
