PURPOSE STATEMENTI have always believed that curiosity to know the facts and the reasons behind them is the most important aspect in expanding the sphere of knowledge. I think I have this curiosity and thirst for knowledge within me. I am strongly convinced of this during my undergraduate course in Mechanical Engineering and have always tried to scan the horizons of Mechanical Engineering, which has exponentially increased my zeal to analyze the subject in depth. I have a strong propensity for learning and creativity and as I am on the threshold of my professional career I look forward to undertaking a Master's study which can become one of the key pillars in converting my imagination into reality and contributing to the field. I come from a family that places great importance on education and has always encouraged me to learn new things and pursue my dreams. I received my education from BHONSALA MILITARY SCHOOL where a balance was maintained between theoretical studies and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. In high school I developed a whimsical interest in physics and mathematics. My interest increased further when I began to learn the application of mathematics to the physical world. I actively participated in scientific exhibitions and sports. My good grades in high school and SEEE exam led me to Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering course at GH RAISONI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING (an autonomous institute under UGC Act 1956) affiliated to RTM Nagpur University. Throughout my undergraduate studies, courses such as Mechanical Engineering, Strength of Materials, Fluid Mechanics, and Thermodynamics provided me with a solid foundation and problem-solving techniques. Further courses like Theory of matter...... middle of paper ......sphere for my successful graduate work. Your institution is a confluence of people from all different cultures and ideologies. Such an exposure of different influences would help the overall development of my personality, power and courage. It would also help me to learn the global standards in the industry and become aware of the global competition, which I believe would be of great help for me to make a strong contribution to the industry. A combination of all these would definitely facilitate a positive approach towards my master's degree. Ultimately I want to make a laudable contribution to the present world by initiating and implementing innovative ideas and a research-oriented approach towards them that would change the perception of future engineering. A mechanical engineering graduate program at the University of Texas at Arlington will help me achieve my goals.
