To Kill a Mockingbird is a novel written from the third-person point of view. It occurred in the 1960s in Maycomb, Alabama. Jean Louise Finch is one of the most attractive and active little girls I know. Jean Louise Finch is the narrator of To Kill a Mockingbird. He lives with his widowed father Atticus, his brother Jim, and the "colored" cook and housekeeper, Calpurnia. In the novel "To Kill a Mockingbird", Jean Louise Finch shows herself to be a short-tempered child. Scout shows her anger when she says, "meeting Walter Cunningham in the schoolyard pleased me a little, but as I was rubbing his nose on the ground, Jim came up and told me to stop." (pg.30) In my opinion, when Scout was taking care of Walter Cunningham because he was poor, Miss Caroline thought that Scout was not telling the truth but was a clever allelic, and Scout got into trouble. If Scout had explained herself a little better, such a serious misunderstanding wouldn't have occurred.
