“Students are forced to play the “race to the top or they will be left behind” game” (Etelson, 2015). The idea that success should be based on the skill and talent of individuals is wrong because success should not be based on the skill and talent of individuals. Pressure, competitiveness and the future must change before more kids go through an education system that teaches them how to compete with fellow students rather than how to acquire knowledge. It's time to level the game
