Shortly after Donda West's horrific death, her son Kanye West appeared on the Dr. Phil show to discuss the risks of undergoing plastic surgery. Donda died the next day after abdominoplasty and breast reduction surgery. The blame lies with her plastic surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams. In another case, young Lori also went under the knife of Dr. Jan Adams and also appeared on the Dr. Phil show after a hectic experience. In Lori's case, she wanted to repair one implanted breast because it was unusually saggy than her other breast. Dr. Adams knew what needed to be done to correct the problem. However, that's not exactly what happened. After the surgery, Lori felt terrible pain and noticed that her chest had been severely damaged. She also noticed that her left breast was much larger than her right one. When Lori confronted Dr. Adams about her problems, he looked at her and laughed. After seven long years of excruciating pain, Lori finally went to another doctor to have the surgery done again. During the surgery, the doctor realized there was something foreign in Lori's breast because while he was cutting it, his instrument started smoking and the smell was terrible. Lori's doctor found a piece of sponge left over from Dr. Adams' surgery seven years ago, and the horrible smell was due to an infection that increased significantly over time. Fortunately, the infection was not yet life-threatening. There are many risks in undergoing plastic surgery, especially when it is performed in other countries.
