Topic > Edna and George Appiah's Wedding - 837

All bridesmaids' dresses are royal blue with a sash and the groomsmen's suits are black with a royal blue tie. After the wedding comes the reception which is completely different. First the bride and groom along with the wedding procession enter the reception hall and this is called their first entry. The couple dances with the bridal party and sits down. Then there are the speeches of the bride's parents and the groom's parents. Other family members can also give speeches; all the speeches are made during dinner time, when all the guests are eating. Dinner can be anything, the couple can choose to serve traditional dishes and in this case Edna and George chose to do so. After dinner, the couple dances their first dance and also invites the wedding guests onto the dance floor. While the guests dance, the newlyweds go to a back room to change for the second entrance. After the second entry the dance floor remains open for the rest of the night. Guests are invited to leave the room to give their gifts to the couple. Gifts are accepted in the form of cash. The guests write their name, number and the amount of cash they have given to the spouses on a piece of paper, so that the spouses can call and thank them
