Because I feel that my passion for healthcare can only thrive in a multi-faceted environment, Washington University in St. Louis is the best choice for me. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted a career in medicine. Through careful observation of my surroundings, I have managed to develop a reserve of great medicinal value. That environment, however, was not one found in an everyday family; my entire family is made up of doctors, specialized in almost all fields of medicine. Not only are my parents in the health field, but so are my siblings. My dad is an ENT, so those regular winter colds never lasted long. My mother, who I consider a role model and inspiration, is a specialist in obstetrics and gynecology, dedicated to helping women. The older of my two brothers is a plastic surgeon, while the younger is a dentist. Because I came from a very therapeutic family, the esoteric field of healthcare was no longer an enigma to me.
