While Beatrix is trying to escape from the coffin she is in, Elle arrives at Budd's trailer to purchase the Hattori Hanzo sword. When Budd goes to check the money, he reveals a deadly black mamba in the case. Budd is then killed by the Black Mamba and Elle calls Bill telling him that Beatrix killed Budd and that she took care of Kiddo. After talking to Bill on the phone, Beatrix ambushes her. In the midst of their battle Driver reveals to Beatrix that he poisoned their master Pai Mei in revenge for taking out her eye. As soon as she hears this she does the same as the mast and takes out her other eye, leaving her screaming in the trailer with the deadly snake. Now that all the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad are dead except Bill, he sets off to South America in search of him. Beatrix ends up in Mexico looking for a man named Esteban Vihaio who was like a father figure to Bill when he was younger. He wants to interrogate him to find out where Bill is. After finding Esteban, he willingly gives her his location because he states that Bill would want him to. He then travels to Bill's house, which resides deep in the Mexican countryside. When he gets there, he discovers that his daughter BB, now four years old, is still alive. Finding this out, she spends the night at Bill's house. Once BB falls asleep, Bill hits Beatrix with a dart that contained the truth serum. Then he starts questioning her. Beatrix tells him that she ran away without telling him anything for her daughter's safety. It is now that Beatrix realizes that she must commit to completing her mission by killing Bill, even though she loved him. This is Beatrix coming back. Then they start fighting and even though she loses her strength... halfway through the card... the race shown in the movie is the Crazy 88 according to typical Japanese stereotypes. They are all violent, arrogant, alcoholic and fashionable. The same goes for his bodyguard Gogo, dressed as a schoolgirl. In conclusion, we can learn from narratives like this that not all hustler roles are played by male characters. Even if a character is female, that doesn't mean they can't possess male traits. The main theme of the whole film is obviously revenge. It's a bittersweet story, in its own way, or at the same time redemption and responsibility. There is also a theme of redemption throughout the film. These themes are still seen today because revenge is always something someone wants back from someone when they have been wronged. The relevance of this today is in most movie plots and stories, but told through different narratives.
