Some are simply because of the individual. People living below the poverty line simply follow a cycle. Their parents were poor, so they could not provide education for their children, which leads them to not find a job in the future and ultimately remain poor. This cycle repeats itself again and again and again. For this cycle to break, someone has to help him get an education so he can afford a job and be able to support himself. If they can afford an education for their children, then they will be able to find a suitable job and live independently. Furthermore, the individual himself is not the only reason. War and political instability are another major reason why world poverty continues to grow. William of the Borgen Project says: "It's a telling sign that the world's poorest countries have all experienced civil wars and major political upheavals at some point in the 20th century, and many of them have weak governments." It is clear that without security, stability and protection, economic prosperity cannot grow. Every individual needs these basics to be able to work and obtain an education. Likewise, laws are needed to protect people's rights, properties and investments. Without them, entrepreneurs lack the confidence to safely invest in a country's economy. While these are one of the main reasons, another factor also contributes to the problem. In
