Therefore, if you don't give certain people the same rights as a heterosexual couple, you end up discriminating in the same way that interracial marriage was until 1967, when an African American woman and a white man took their case to the Supreme Court. Martin Luther King Jr. fought for equality from the mid-1950s until his assassination in 1968. Now homosexuals are doing the same thing for same-sex marriage. In reality, many murders have occurred against homosexuals due to "homophobia". In Russia, a man was beaten to death by his alleged friends after he told them he was homosexual, "they reportedly decided to taunt him by making him walk home naked and start tearing off his clothes." and was also "raped with beer bottles and severely beaten", but they didn't stop there "After the brutal attack, the suspects allegedly left, but later returned after realizing that the victim would call the police when he regained consciousness." (rt.com) It sickens me that people would do that to a human being who just wanted to be honest. I understand not supporting someone, but killing them for who they chose to be? It's ridiculous and inhumane. No one should be afraid of “coming out,” as some call it
