Alcohol and driving have always been a big problem all over the world which society is more aware of. Statistics relating to alcohol consumption and driving have decreased in recent years. From 1991 to 2011, accidents related to drunk driving decreased by 49%, but drunk driving is still responsible for 30% of road accidents. Advertising has had an impact on society regarding this issue. Even though the statistics have decreased over the years, they can still decrease even more. Due to the high number of victims, BMW has started campaigns to increase people's awareness of this issue. On the left side of this advertisement there are two legs, the right leg is a normal human leg and the left leg is a prosthetic leg. On the right side of the ad there is a sentence that says: "The spare parts are not original like those of cars. Don't drink and drive." The BMW logo is located below this phrase. The audience for this advertisement is primarily made up of people over the age of 21 who drink and drive; however, people under the age of 21 who drink cause many of the accidents caused by drunk driving.Wh...
