Among all the civil rights activists in the history of the world there are some who stand out among the rest like Martin Luther King and Malala Yousufzai. Martin Luther King Jr. was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia, and young Malala Yousufzai was born on July 12, 1997 in Mingora, Pakistan. It is also worth noting that both Martin Luther King and Malala were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. These two people had a great impact on the world. Even though MLK and Malala are from different parts of the globe, they all had similar philosophies and struggles. First of all, Martin Luther King's philosophy of non-violence had two great influences that guided him in his life: a strong faith in religion and Gandhi's philosophy. Being a Christian instilled strong moral values in Martin Luther King, and much of Martin Luther King's philosophy of nonviolent residences comes from the Bible, such as the teachings of Jesus and the Christian principles of pacifism. Martin Luther King also had other influences that helped shape his nonviolent philosophy. For example, Martin Luther King was greatly influenced by another civil rights activist, Mahatma Gandhi. Much of Martin Luther King's philosophy of nonviolent resistance derives from the philosophies that Gandhi applied to his resistance movements in India and Africa. For example, the use of boycotts, demonstrations, marches, and civil noncompliance as forms of nonviolent resistance. It was both his religion and the influence of activists like Gandhi; straighten out his commitment to love his enemy and wish him no harm, and to fight for truth and justice. Like other activists, Martin Luther King faces a number of obstacles in his fight for equal rights in America... in the middle of the newspaper ...he enshrined women's rights in his country. She was also fighting against segregation and the lack of equal rights given to women in her country. Like Martin Luther King, Malala was also in danger from extremist groups, but her danger came from the Taliban. For example, the Taliban in the Swat Valley burned schools and even shot Malala on a school bus. Furthermore, Malala proves herself to be a strong leader after she was shot when she shows great discipline by sticking to her philosophy of nonviolence and continuing to fight her oppressors with the truth. In conclusion, both Martin Luther King and Malala Yousufzai were supporters of civil rights. activist who similarly shared the fight for equal rights and the principles of non-violence. Furthermore, both Martin Luther King and Malala had a similar influence on their philosophies and face similar obstacles in their fight for civil rights..
