I started my undergraduate degree at Central Texas College, not because I wanted to, but because I thought I was following orders to get an education. I liked that the lessons were free, but I didn't really mind the sacrifice of personal time. Needless to say, I didn't do well in my early years. I can't say I have a favorite instructor, but the most memorable was Mr. Trujillo. I missed government class twice. After a few semesters, earning about half of my degree, I took a break from my education. It wasn't until five years later that I decided to finish my degree at Central Texas College. This time I was much more mature and more serious about my education. This was reflected in my grades and in December 2014 I received my bachelor's degree. After attending a military professional development school from January to March 2015, I met with a GCU counselor to work on my next degree. I hope to earn my bachelor's degree in applied management by the end of the summer
