She has a complex past that has allowed her to build walls around her past and helps transform her character into a complex and interesting person: much more so than at the beginning of the book. Readers seem to forget one thing about Curley's wife: she is a human being too. Just like the other characters, he has feelings and needs as indicated in further analysis
