My Teaching StylePragmatic teaching style is the best way to describe my teaching style. I will involve kids in hands-on learning. I want to be an educator because I want to make learning more fun for children. I also like working with children. I really enjoy working with children and would like to work with children to help them improve in school. Working with children helping them learn makes me feel great. I am more progressive when it comes to my philosophy of education. I think you should have child based activities in the classroom. Children should have more hands-on activities that help them learn. I think the teacher should deal with small problems in the classroom and not involve the office. Getting the office involved too much could cause your classroom to lose control. In my classroom I will arrange the seats in a semicircle so that all students can see you and the board more easily. It also stops children who like to sit at the back of the classroom. It will involve everyone in the learning process. I will have active boards based on the time of year. In the fall I will put the leaves on the bulletin board to show that the leaves are changing and falling from the trees. For the winter I will put some snowflakes on the board to show that it is cold outside. By spring, the leaves will come on the trees and show how things outside are turning green again. I will have projects going on throughout the year. I will have the kids play games to help them study for the next test. I will have items on a bulletin board to show how well the children are behaving. I will give you... half of the document... help me in many ways. I am planning to continue my studies by attending graduate school. I hope that improving my education will have a positive effect on my teaching style. My mentor teacher will help me improve my education by teaching me the ways of teaching in that school system. I will be willing to acquire information from outside the classroom and use it in my daily teaching style. My future development will be aided by my mentor teacher and the efforts of other teachers. I will bring my ideas into the way I teach in the classroom. I will bring new things to teach students how to do things or not. I will always explain to my students, like the tragedy of 9/11, the importance of what just happened in the world. I will make clear everything that is happening in the world.
