Recently, many people believe they witnessed, via a viral video, the sighting of a UFO (unidentified flying object) directly above the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem , in Israel, but the research is still solid has quickly debunked this event as another contemporary hoax. Sightings like this date back to June 24, 1947, when Kenneth Arnold reportedly saw a "flying saucer" (Dash). There are many people around the world who wholeheartedly believe in unidentified flying objects. Furthermore, when Mr. Arnold claimed to have seen a UFO, there was much petty discussion between believers and non-believers. Nowadays, however, thanks to modern technology, it is possible to record the alleged sighting via video and still images. In doing so, this provides the public with the opportunity to view and judge via the Internet or print media the validity of a UFOA. A few weeks ago, I saw this exact video online and it not only caught my attention, but the attention of millions of people. This UFO sighting shows a light hovering above the Dome of the Rock, in Jerusalem, Israel. This place is known as undoubtedly one of the holiest places in the history of the world according to both Judaism and Islam. Not only did the object hover, but it displayed a flash-like strobe light and later accelerated upward into space. After seeing this video on the Internet, I, a skeptic who does not believe in the concept of UFOs, began to think that perhaps this was believable. However, after contemplating this mysterious video a little deeper, I thought there should be at least more. of a single sighting in such a crowded tourist attraction and historical place. After searching for a few seconds on YouTube.com for possible other points of… half of the paper… defect if the faces of the aliens are shown.” However, skeptics may call this recent event a hoax. Because, even if one saw an alien or even just a spaceship, one would not have enough credibility to prove beyond another person's questioning denial. So, bringing me back to my original question, if someone had actually seen this phenomenon, where would these other people be? I believe we will never know the answer regarding extraterrestrials until there is a national revelation of some kind. Once again, skeptics are left waiting for an answer. Because the human race deserves nothing less. Works Cited Dash, Mike. Borderlands: The Ultimate Exploration of the Unknown. Overlook Press: Woodstock, New York, 2000. PrintWilliams, James.
