Topic > Challenges of Juvenile Delinquents - 1076

To date, there has been an increase in juvenile delinquents being tried in criminal courts for weapons charges. The physical and mental suffrage that a young delinquent has undergone in the past are the main factors that push him to commit crimes. But when they are brought before a criminal court, their lives are put in danger by all the dangerous risk factors. Juvenile delinquents are treated as adults when they have committed a crime and are sentenced to years depending on the case. Therefore, criminal courts will not see the consequences when they lock up juvenile offenders in adult prisons. The safety of young offenders is at risk of suffering physical or mental abuse.
