Topic > A Discussion About Driver's Permit and High School Dropout Rate

Debate Over Driver's Licenses Some people believe that people who drop out of high school should not be allowed to get a driver's license. I disagree with this argument, I believe that even if you had to drop out of high school you should still be able to get your driver's license. Now here I go, I'm not saying it would be okay if kids started dropping out of high school left and right, but I feel like even if they made that stupid decision and it's a STUPID decision, they should still take a chance on getting their license driving. Because they too have places to go and people to see. Just like everyone else. The only difference with them is that they did not graduate from high school. Say no to plagiarism. Get an Original Essay Think about it this way… if you were to drop out of high school and wanted to get your licenses but they told you since you didn't graduate high school you couldn't get your licenses. How would that make you feel? Really crap, well now imagine if they started doing this to every single person who doesn't have a diploma or GED. That would create a big problem, right? Most likely everyone would start protesting and rebelling. They wouldn't like this BIG change. You can't just tell people they can do something and then when they do it tell them they can't. You're basically telling people they can't live there because they don't qualify because they didn't get their GED. It would not be okay for anyone to feel a way that might make someone feel… There are kids who may need to drop out of school for reasons we couldn't understand, like supporting their family financially. Maybe they have some health problems, or a family member may be very ill and they need to stay home and take care of them. Some children may feel scared because they might be bullied. Some may think they don't need school simply because the people around them can get by every day without it. Sometimes it may be because they aren't being disciplined about school, like they bring home bad grades and their parents don't care, so they feel like they shouldn't either. There are so many different reasons why some kids drop out of school and I feel like none of us should judge anyone because we all have something that someone else can judge about us too. In our generation Our young people don't care about the grade you get, but more about what you wear or what car you drive. We would never know what was going on in someone else's house, but all everyone would focus on would be the fact that they are outcasts and are not qualified to have a normal life like everyone else. Not everyone is treated the same, but I will tell you that I am only 15 years old and I have seen enough in my family drop out of school for many reasons such as getting pregnant at a young age, having a baby is difficult or because school was boring for them or because they had two children and had to look for a job to support their families or they went to prison there are so many things that might make people think they have to drop out of school but what they don't understand is that they can work around any situation, that life is hard and everyone has problems, there are kids who are driven people who don't have that support they need to face life, not everyone has someone to say I'm here for you, if you need help I'll give it to you I'll give, not everyone has the.
