Although American men and women are perceived as equal, it is still an issue the county faces on a daily basis. There are some women who get paid less for the exact same job. There is always a problem with choosing abortion. In the eyes of the churches, divorce is not an option. There are many problems that women face to live their lives comfortably. There are also many triumphs that women go through. For example, women can vote in the United States. Women still have the option of being a wife, a mother, or neither; it is socially acceptable in American culture. While there are women around the world pushing for the same rights that American women enjoy, feminism is very much alive. While it may be slow and steady progress for women around the world, eventually women will have the same rights and equality as all men around the world.
