Writing in Russian has always been an easy task for me thanks to my strange ability to “feel the language”. Sometimes I just felt like it was better to write and, therefore, I could write an article perfectly without even knowing some rules. On the contrary, writing in English was less “intuitive”. At school, everyone is supposed to learn English as a second language, so teachers tried to push their students to perform better, which sometimes led to them losing any interest in learning the new language. As for me, I have always been interested in studying English, because without it it is much more difficult to do something outside the country, or, with time, even in the country considering that, nowadays, almost all prestigious companies hire employees with a requirement of knowledge of English. This way, back in Belarus, my current level of English could be considered advanced. As for the United States, my level of English is drastically different from that of my country, so after moving to America, I had to start learning English again and I believed that college was one of the ways to do that. Therefore, it is obvious now that throughout my college career, in addition to earning my degree, I would like to improve my knowledge
