I completed my fifteen hours of observation at Dowdell Middle Magnet School. I observed five teachers. The subjects I observed were mathematics and science. Every teacher I have observed has a different teaching style and handles the situation differently. I observed sixth, seventh, and eighth grade math. The first week I did my observation, math teachers were reviewing the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). The sixth grade teacher asked the students to go to the board to solve the problems they worked on in groups. If the student doesn't know how to solve the problem he will get help from another student, if both students don't know how to solve the problem he will go to the board and show the students how to solve the problem. The students listened and followed the teacher and participated when he asked questions. The teacher kept the tablet with him to keep track of any misbehavior by the student.
