Every time someone watches the news there is so much going on in the world like Russia's secret nuclear facility, US president flirts and takes selfies, actors dead or in the process of rehabilitation, anti-ethnic violence in Syria and the fight for religious freedom in Egypt. How much of this is real? How much attention is given to important news? The media has a tendency to show what they know will be popular if it isn't true. As in the previous examples, the media only shows what will cause further controversy on the issue of Israel. They make false claims and show only parts of footage that make Israel look like an enemy. Since we don't live in the Middle East, we swallow the news and believe it is our only source of information and start talking about it the way the media shows us. Israel is then talked about as this horrible country where people are racist, there is no religious freedom and listeners then begin to root for the “peace” religion of Islam. They begin to spread hatred for anti-Semitic statements. Israel finds itself with a bad image and without any defense. This article examines the recent rise of anti-Semitism in the United States and argues for the importance of supporting Israel and the validity of Christian Zionism. It is quite important for Christians to be well informed about anti-Semitic statements, why it is necessary to support Israel and what Christian Zionism is, because Israel is at a crucial moment and needs all the support it can get. Starting with the introduction to anti-Semitism, followed by the reasons for supporting Israel, and ending with Christian Zionism, the reader will be more informed on this topic in order to make a correct choice... middle of paper.. ....
