Hate Groups in the United States Right now, there are many active hate groups in the United States such as the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, Skinheads, Christian Identity, black separatists, etc. These hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan, which is one of the oldest and most feared in America, use violence and go above the law to advance their various causes. Another example is a group called Christian Identity, which describes a fundamentally racist and anti-Semitic religion; and others are Black Separatist groups, which are organizations whose ideologies include tenets of racially based hatred. Thanks to information gathered by the Intelligence Project from hate group publications, citizen reports, law enforcement, field sources, and news reports, many people know about these hate groups. Many people know how these groups act and think, and most Americans agree that these hate groups are immoral and should not be allowed to exist in the United States or anywhere in the world. All hate groups know that they can only thrive if they continue to recruit new members. Three of the most obvious similarities between members of hate groups are their gender, male; their race, Caucasian; and their age, 35 years or younger. Many people think that the reason young people are willing to join hate groups in high school and college is that they are uncertain about their future. People often believe that young people who join hate groups are the ones with the least education and least hope for a future in terms of employment, but this is no longer true because hate has flourished in universities and campuses high schools. For members of the Ku Klux Klan it is important that their message of hatred reaches young people. The initiation of children and infants is an important part of Klan activities. It's so bad and wrong that the Ku Klux Klan has gotten to the point of frequenting playgrounds. They're looking for kids playing unsupervised. The Klan believes these kids are potential Klan members because their parents don't care enough to see them play. The child is probably growing up in a dysfunctional family that pays him little attention and when he is older he will cling to the Klan because membership in this group will provide him with a strong family structure that his......middle of paper .. ....their new and young members say that different people are bad and all kinds of things. These lessons, which new members of these hate groups are learning, are wrong because they cause anger in its members and then members commit hate crimes against those they hate because they are different. That is why not only blacks, homosexuals, Asians and Hispanics, but also whites think that these hate groups should be banned so that they can no longer commit crimes. Many hate groups in the United States use the first amendment as a shield to protect themselves from the law, they are a bad example for our next generations because they are trying to recruit more members and change their way of thinking, these hate groups also commit many crimes against those people who think they are different. This is why many Americans in the United States are against all hate groups and think that these hate groups should not be allowed to exist. We all know that if the US government decides to ban them, they may remain silent for many years, but we can count on the fact that they are there. They are “The Invisible Empire” and will always be the dark side of American history.
