Unequal treatment has the potential to impact society, business and my personal experiences with a career inside or outside of the business world in the future. Unequal treatment impacts my life today due to the restrictions and measures imposed on all possible employers I encounter while working part-time as a student. Since unequal treatment is the unfair treatment of an individual based on any of the factors such as sex, religion, disability, race, age, national origin, there is a broad category of people protected by this rule of law. The impact of disparate treatment on society can be seen in two ways: 1) the way it affects those who might otherwise be discriminated against due to factors they cannot control, and 2) the way it deems employers responsible for their principles of hiring and employing protected persons. classes. Because these classes are protected, the rights of many more people are protected and they are encouraged to seek employment opportunities. This causes a decrease in the national unemployment rate and also increases the nation's GDP. The result of employer liability is that a higher percentage of employers can use disparate impact if they wish to intentionally discriminate in the hiring process. One positive aspect that can arise from employers' responsibility, however, is that employers can use this equality to encourage more applicants from protected groups who might otherwise feel that they would not be selected due to their status as belonging to a protected group. For example, this could encourage more women to apply for an executive position that was previously only given to men. The impact that unequal treatment has on businesses is vastly underestimated. Furthermore, this reinforces the idea that the rule of law against unequal treatment helps national GDP growth as these people bring more jobs and human resources that grow the economy. These people bring with them their culture and new ideas, enriching the United States with cultural diversity and even more innovation. Unequal treatment helps distinguish our nation from others, where not all groups have the opportunity to advance and are stuck like “sticks.” in the mud." Our nation can be seen as a larger version of a “company” that, knowingly or not, competes with other nations in attracting the best and brightest so that we ourselves can innovate. Perhaps the promise of innovating and improving ourselves to be the best we can be is the greatest impact offered by disparate treatments.
